Most Galena Sumer Trails are open apart from those within the wildlife closure. Trails were re-cleared June 10th on the east side, however it is likely more trees will come down with the recent wind. When you head out, be prepared to encounter deadfall. The trail crew will continue to be out clearing deadfall as needed. 

Wildlife closures are in place for elk calving on sections of Big Wood, Crosscut, Outhouse, Spring Creek, and Grinder. These closures are in place through June 25th.
